The Public Utilities Board (PUB) is pleased to announce that our Small Solar Project was successfully completed in November 2025.
This project began in 2024 when PUB installed solar panels on the roof of our headquarters as a trial. Once we saw that the system was working well and could be relied on, our technical team expanded the project to several government offices.
Solar panels have now been installed at offices including PUB, MCIA, MWYSSA, ECD, and MOE with a total PV capacity of 192.76kWp. These systems are up and running and are already helping to supply electricity to these workplaces daily.
This is an important step forward for PUB. Using solar power helps reduce our dependence on imported fuel, lowers operating costs over time, and makes our power supply more reliable. It also supports a cleaner environment for everyone.
PUB would like to thank all partners and staff who supported this project, and we remain committed to finding practical and sustainable energy solutions for the future.
