PLANNED POWER OUTAGE – BAIRIKI

The Public Utilities Board (PUB) wishes to inform customers and the general public that there will be a scheduled power outage in parts of Bairiki on Saturday, 7 November 2026, to allow PUB to carry out transformer installation works. See full details of the power outage below:

Date: Saturday, 7 November 2026

Outage Start Time: 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM

Affected Area: Bairiki, Te Tokatarawa and all ministries and offices from Vodafone Headquarters to Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MFED)

Safety message to all customers – Treat all power lines as live at all times. Switch off and unplug sensitive equipment (computers, servers) before 8:00 am. 

PUB sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this planned interruption may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all affected customers.

Power should be back to normal after the mentioned time.
