The Public Utilities Board (PUB) wishes to inform all interested applicants that the following position is being re-advertised.

VACANCY: Solar PV Engineer

Salary        : Grade 4.1 (PUB Pay Scale)

The position will be based at Bikenibeu office, and will report to the General Manager, Solar Photovoltaic department.

Qualification and Experience: The person required should have:

A Degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in the Power station Instrumentation & control along with knowledge in Solar PV system.

             OR

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a Power station instrumentation & control/solar PV system

Key responsibilities:

• Develop annual work plans for solar PV components and a preventative maintenance programme.
• Work closely with the generation and instrumentation & control engineers to ensure the station SCADA system and connected components are well maintained and kept upgraded as required.
• Identify and report system faults to the GM Solar PV Department.
• Respond to emergency callouts and outages.
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety standards.
