Employees of the Month

This month, we celebrate two hard-working employees

Ioata Tamaroa

is our expert, in house draftsman, who manages the GIS system for our electricity, water & sanitation network. Ioata is engaged in updating services, interacting with the new projects for network upgrades and expansion and in design of new connections.

Ioata has successfully cooperated to link PUB’s ArcGIS system to the Oracle NetSuite IMS, so that all works orders, faults and system updates can be easily managed and monitored.

A valued employee of 10 years Ioata is progressing with PUB and is excited for future developments as data and data management become essential to key management and business decisions in future.

Ioata Reemon

is our electricity network manager and a valued employee of many years. Ioata supervises a dedicated team that attends to transformer, cable and network issues and management and he contributes to overall power generation and systems planning.

Ioata is a leader by example, often attending to site to supervise works on weekends or late into the night and he, along with the team of officers and workers is instrumental in keeping the lights on in South Tarawa.
